I am a traveling artist. You can find me from the North Pole to the South Pole. Traveling is a passion, just like creating.
I don’t have a studio. To work, I choose a space with soul, warm light, a lot of energy... sometimes the space chooses me. This can also be in nature. The energy of the sea, the trees, the glaciers, the desert is gold.
The limitations of a location stimulate my creativity.
Will I work large, small, on canvas or another medium, with paint or colored pencils? Will I incorporate materials from the place—water, sand, earth, flowers—into my creation?
I am challenged to think beyond the known. The context determines the form. This often leads to something new.
Usually, I create alone, occasionally with others. Often, it enriches my artistic growth.
